In addition to traditional cookies, we also use browser storage technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which function similarly but store data locally in your browser rather than sending it to a server with every request.

We use a small number of strictly necessary and analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing cookies.

3. Google Analytics and Consent Mode
We implement Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode. By default, analytics storage is set to denied when you first visit the site. Google Analytics only activates data collection after you explicitly accept cookies via our consent banner.
If you decline cookies, Google Analytics will not collect your data. Cloudflare security cookies will still be set as they are strictly necessary for the site to operate.
4. Your Rights Under GDPR and CASL
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding cookies and the personal data associated with them:

Under Canada's CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation), we obtain your express or implied consent before collecting personal information via tracking technologies where required.

5. How to Opt Out
Browser Settings
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Note that blocking all cookies may affect site functionality. Instructions for major browsers:
Google Analytics Opt-Out
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This prevents Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
Clearing localStorage
To clear locally stored reading history and consent preferences, open your browser's developer tools (F12), navigate to Application > Local Storage, and delete entries beginning with nca_ or cookie-consent. Alternatively, clearing your browser's site data will remove all localStorage entries for this site.
